CJSC Plant Kartontol
CJSC Plant Kartontol is one of the oldest and stably operating enterprises in St. Petersburg. Founded in 1872, the plant produces commercial cardboard for various industries, using waste paper as the primary raw material. At the same time, special attention has always been paid to mastering the production of new types of products and improving the material and technical base of the plant.
Competently organized work of specialists and technological processes made it possible to provide the company's customers with such advantages as:
- minimum terms of production of batches of cardboard, taking into account the individual requirements of the customer
- quality assurance and competitive prices
- accuracy and timeliness in settlements with partners
- focus on long-term, fruitful cooperation
The unique territorial location of the plant provides, on the one hand, proximity to the city center, on the other hand, being close to the main transport interchanges, which is an indisputable advantage when shipping the plant's products.
The water circulation system and local wastewater treatment facilities allow rational use of water resources. These systems save water by returning treated wastewater to the production system.
Purifying atmospheric air from pollutants equips emission sources with dust and gas-cleaning plants.
CJSC Plant Kartontol is confidently moving towards minimizing the impact of its production activities on the environment. It seeks to balance the risks associated with environmental changes and the effectiveness of investment projects.
Waste sorting has been introduced at Kartontol Plant. Sorted paper waste is sent to its production. For other types of waste, separate agreements are concluded with licensed organizations for waste removal, disposal, and disposal.
The newest times in the history of the enterprise began in the mid-1990s. Once again, the form of its ownership has changed. After corporatization, the enterprise became known as the Closed Joint-Stock Company Plant Kartontol. Its registration took place on January 13, 1994.
